Christmas Spirits: Tomorrow’s Gifts by Lisabet Sarai

Blurb:

Michael loves his burly, powerful partner Neil, but he's too embarrassed to share his secret fantasies of submission and surrender. Frustrated and confused, he wonders whether he and Neil really belong together.

Then, on Christmas Eve, Michael receives a visit from a sexy Dom, Thorne Wilder, who claims to be his lover from the future. Thorne shows Michael scenes from a wild life of sexual excess that he claims they'll share if he breaks up with Neil.Should Michael trust the ghost of Christmas future, or does his true future lie with Neil?

My Review:

This story combines two genres that are pretty much on the bottom of my list as far as picking a genre goes. BDSM and M/M. But I like the basic premise of this story. Who doesn’t like a good scrooge tale around the holidays? So I gave it try.

While it may be the way guys think and talk, the language was a bit crass for me. But the writing was smooth. There was loads of sex in this one, but the plot and storyline held its own, making the scenes work. It’s also full of emotion and had me rooting for Michael to make a certain choice.

Michael gets to see the future and it helps him to make a hard life changing decision. This gives a new meaning to the phrase sleep on it. How many times have I gone to bed hoping to find the answer to a major life decision? Enough to make me envy Michael.

If you like BDSM and M/M and you’re looking for a good ghost of Christmas future story, you won’t want to miss this one.

I give this story 4 and a half hearts. Reviewed by
