HEART is about uplifting authors and their hard work. Only stories the staff have read rating three hearts or higher will appear on this site. If a story does not make the grade then it will not appear on the site. It is HEART’s belief that no review is better than a bad one. With that being said, HEART stands behind the STORIES (stories only, not the publisher or any affiliates) posted on its review site and believes in the writing abilities of the author. HEART inspires to celebrate the art of writing, great story telling and the authors who write them.

When Ginger Snapped by Kerri Nelson

Blurb:

When Ginger Snapped is a hot romantic comedy about a newly single mom Ginger Lockhart who can’t take anymore of the emotional turmoil of her pending divorce or the holiday madness of the Christmas season. Until she meets sexy massage therapist Caston DeLuca and he works his magical hands on her. Only then, can she begin to let the insanity and complications of life slip away but will he become more than just a one session soother?

My Review:

Holiday’s are busy and a stressful time of year. And that stress might make you want to jump over the edge. Ginger, on the other hand, does. If you’ve ever wanted to go off, maybe you could live through Ginger for a few short moments instead.

More of a mainstream book than romance, Ms. Nelson has captured the heart and mind of every woman who has ever been scorned. Whether they act on the anger in some way or another or not, is a different story.

I did have some issues with this story in that I’m afraid Ginger will wake up and realize her troubles have just started rather than ended. However, I’m sure women can relate to Ginger’s feelings if not her actions.

I give this story 3 and a half hearts. Reviewed by
